A note from our patrons...
| The food and service are outstanding. John Vossler creates a small island of elegance with Texas charm. |

My husband went to New Orleans for the gas lease sales last year and this year. They ate at 1)[last year]Commander's Palace and this year 2) Galatoires. He said the food in both places did not compare to Le Gourmet Bistro. He said their food was like the new seafood restaurant/oyster bar on the north side of Tomball(uninspired, bland, cheap ingredients but OK for most people). We are so enamored of your food and hope it continues. |

| Those of us living on the far Northwest side of Houston (Tomball and north) have long suffered from a lack of fine dining,or even decent restaurants. There is a beautiful restaurant in Tomball that deserves some publicity.
Otherwise it will surely suffer from venturing into land where restaurants are judged to be excellent only if they serve mass quartities of lard infested, overly salted cheap food.
This restaurant is called Le Gourmet Bistro. It is set in an old house, small and cozy, and the owner is always there welcoming visitors. The food is on par with Le Mistral in Houston, although with an Italian flare. Also worthy of note is the service staff. The management takes their wine list seriously and provides a selection for everyone's taste. Prices are expensive ($17 to $30)for entrees), but not when you consider the quality.
More foodies in our area should know about LeGourmetBistro. I of course want to see them succeed so I continue to have a place of that caliber nearby to go for dinner.
